Last November I bought myself a cream-colored Sawyer Shacket from Woolx, and it turned out to be a great purchase. I thought the original price was way too high, but in one of their November sales I was able to stack two 20% discounts and get one for $144. I have worn it more than a hundred times in the past eleven months, because it is an extraordinarily versatile piece of clothing. It keeps me comfortable in temperatures ranging from the low 20s to the high 50s, and I routinely get compliments on it. The pockets are exactly right, it keeps me reasonably dry in the rain (though it's not truly waterproof), and it's machine-washable too. Since mine is solid cream it goes with everything, but it looks like they've leaned into the plaids for this season.
I don't know how easy it might be to stack two 20% discounts this year, but if you're in the market for a new jacket you might want to give it a whirl. If you might like a $20 coupon, you can use my referral link.
