Interrupted

I just read Matt Fitzgerald's Running the Dream (affiliate link) and I enjoyed it so much. He is a dedicated amateur who spent a summer training with a pro team in Flagstaff AZ, preparing for the Chicago Marathon. He's a great storyteller and it's a great story. 

I would tell you more about it but PERDITION DOG is out of sight again, which probably means she's eating a shoe again. She has been A LOT today. It's not that I want her to feel as droopy and subdued as she did right after her surgery, but...there's something to be said for subdued when the alternative appears to be POSSESSED BY DEMONS. (Oh, hey, guess who just came sneaking into the dining room with a shoe in her mouth?)
