It's twenty-five below zero windchill, minus ten actual. Winter! And yet, the birds are singing with the ever earlier rising sun :-)

Hope you are able to get some rest!

Welcome back to life and blogging! You are one of the last of my friend bloggers standing and I drink your every word like I am stranded in a desert without water. Seriously! I hope to blog one of these days too.

But now I have to go grade, even though it's midnight. I procrastinated all day.

March dumped more than a foot of snow on us and then got bloody cold. Very lionish here. But if it leaves gently, I'll be happy. But the daughter who spent all of January and February in despair because every time it snowed it turned to rain before she could properly play in it, that daughter was very happy to get the snow just in time for her birthday. So it's an ill wind that blows no one any good. (Probably not a coincidence that this is the child named after St Therese, who took the snow on the day of her consecration as evidence that her
divine spouse loved her.)

Happy to see you post again! Chimeras are one of my favorite creatures. This pic was in a mythology book I had as a kid and I was always fascinated with it: https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&source=images&cd=&ved=2ahUKEwj0k6Ty0_LgAhUuT98KHYwvA8YQjRx6BAgBEAU&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ancient.eu%2Farticle%2F1006%2Fchimera-of-arezzo%2F&psig=AOvVaw0hqD-hQKgw2XFtE9HOT3kv&ust=1552138289659738

Welcome back! I’d love to hear about your “insufficient Republican-ness”! I dared mention at a recent small group that Democrats can be Christians too. You could have heard a pin drop!
