LOL!!! Actually, ROTFL You're so hilarious!! This post is the best!

I’ve been trying to solve some mysteries using DNA, and it turns out that the useable percentages drop rapidly with the generations. By the time we get to our fourth great grandparents, we likely share only 1.56% of their DNA, and if only gets smaller from there. (I also thought it was cool to learn that it’s not exact percentages — a baby can have 26% of its DNA in common with one Gramma and only 24% in common with the other? Gametes are cool.)

This may seem like an amazing coincidence, but I also grew up with an unusual last name and I am also tenth cousins once removed with Winston Churchill. Signed, your brother.
