Can you ivethe extra to a family who may not have a large food budget? I feel you on the CSA. I had to give up. It was much food to use. Now, I take $20 to the farmer's market each week.

Maybe you can politely decline it? Tell him his gratitude is all the gift you need.

And that's why I stopped participating in the CSA. It was SO HARD to figure out what to do with the random bag of whatever every week without it going to waste. But we learned a lot about what we do and don't like, and what's in season when around here, and we use those skills when shopping.

yes, donate your extras? Ask your church to find a taker or takers.

Freezing is way easier than canning, if you have the space. Berries, applesauce, or even tomatoes.
