I wrote a post at the end of October about the weekend that I spent immersed in Halloween costumes + fancypants birthday cake baking, in which I was going to be done making things for a while.
Today I made a very similar cake, except that the flavors were almond/saffron/orange/orange flower water. Dinner for 10 feels like a substantially bigger undertaking than our normal dinner for 6, even though I'm not sure that makes sense mathematically. I also cast on and finished a cowl in the past 24 hours.
I am tired. I might serve frozen waffles for dinner tomorrow.
