I wrote you a post and then Typepad ate it. Snarfed it right down, leaving no trace in the "restore content" buffer. It was a mildly pleasant post about Tuesday night hill running and the imp that might or might live inside my computer, telling me repeatedly that "toastliness" is not a word, but it seems to have vanished forever. My 14yo suggests that I sum it up for you in a few words: Nitwit. Blubber. Oddment. Tweak. (Maybe it worked better for Dumbledore.)

Welcome
Welcome to my blog, where I mostly natter on about my life with five kids. Occasionally (not very often, because teenagers keep a person humble) I dispense parenting advice. Occasionally I write about other things, like books. (Those are probably affiliate links in posts about books. If you click through and buy something, Amazon will pay me a little bit of money.)
