When I was young I was confused that everyone called our neighbor "Jack Girl" even though he was a boy (Jack Earl). I remember asking my parents about it. I'm sure they were amused.

Hahaha!!! English (or as my husband is fond of saying "this language of yours") is a tough language! As a foreign speaker, I completely understand your daughter!
