Once upon a time I was caught up on pictures. It was one of my fortieth birthday goals, to get all of the pictures into albums, and I did it. I've been behind ever since. I just stuck down the pictures from January of 2011, which means I have only 22 months to go and I'll be caught up again.
This is not my favorite job.
One of its sparse compensations is the rediscovery of forgotten treasures. This one reminds me that if you leave your Complete Works lying around, it might find unexpected readers. This is Stella digging into Titus Andronicus, back at the beginning of the Crazy Shakespeare Project. I tried to tell her that Midsummer Night's Dream would be a better place to start, but she was having none of it.
