Do you know, I got everything on last week's list done except for scheduling the eighth-grader's parent-teacher conferences. His school was only scheduling sixth grade conferences last week, so I'll have to try again later this month. Here's this week's plan, again based on the 5 Ps from Holly Pierlot's book:
- Plan something fun for this week's feasts: St. Francis! St. Bruno! Our Lady of the Rosary! Put the Sacred Heart prayer on the dining room white board and pray it every evening after dinner.
- Find some time for adult conversation with friends x 2. Blog a couple of times about non-list-related stuff.
- Schedule an evening babysitter for a night this week.
- Pick Treasure Island back up with the bigger kids. Make time daily to read with Petely. Start Christmas knitting for oldest and youngest.
- At work: draft study proposal and work through Chapter 6 in the multivariate book. Look again at goals for the year. Find conference hotel.
At home: send sympathy card + customer service letters x 3. Put in irises and other bulbs and weed the horrible west bed. [NB: Please send out posse armed with machetes if no post follows in the next couple of days. It used to be a jungle but now it's beyond that. I need a new noun to describe the jungliness of the west bed. I know I need to get in there and hack but I fear the anacondas.]
