You guys, this is working so well for me. I hope it's not too boring for you and I encourage you to give it a whirl. Two weeks in a row I've knocked all the stuff off my list. Going for three in a row, with some recurring goals...
- Persevere with the nightly Sacred Heart prayer. Get to a weekday Mass.
- Invite some friends over for coffee and knitting. Do some gentle exercise at least three times. (I have been advised not to run for the time being because of this annoying but probably benign heart stuff. Grumble. Tests coming up.) Blog a couple of times about non-list-related stuff.
- Embark for Treasure Island with the bigger kids. (We just met Long John Silver -- he still sends shivers down my spine!) Make time daily to read with Petely. Finish a Christmas present. Print out chore charts and get them laminated.
- At work: Sort out vexing benefits situation, as far as it lies in my power to do so. Get an ID card, finally. Identify groups for new study and get some quick and dirty numbers to compare them. Revise manuscript and send to reader. Make a big dent in Chapter 7. (The book is getting harder so finishing the chapter would be optimistic.) Keep reading book on qualitative research.
At home: Clean this grubby house. Read up on what to do with a vegetable garden over the winter. Empty inbox and deal with disheartening pile of paper on desk.
