I just got a job offer! It's a half-time postdoc starting in August -- it would let me focus on writing up the work I've been doing as a doc student without any teaching responsibilities. It is exactly what I would like to do next year, and I can do most of it from home. Hurray!

- Welcome to my blog, where I mostly natter on about my life with five kids. Occasionally (not very often, because teenagers keep a person humble) I dispense parenting advice. That's AWESOME!!! Someday I hope to have something like that. I just don't know how, 'cause there aren't that many postdocs to be had in the humanities.
