Oh, heavens, it's so true. I remember one day I was baking cookies with whole wheat flour. My husband came to see what I was doing and saw the flour and made a face. It occurred to me then that we don't make or eat cookies for their nutritional benefits.

In the vein of "When I drink whiskey, I drink whiskey; when I drink water, I drink water and I thank God I know the difference." I decided that when I eat cookies I will eat cookies! Nothing but butter and white flour for my cookies ever since.
