Wow, that kid won't let up. Good for him. :) Always thinking. Luckily he has to help him use his powers for good and not evil. I wonder if the fishermen DID catch squid in their nets?

Don't you love it when your kids are relentless in their pursuit for getting what they want? Your kids CRACK ME UP! They are wayyy too smart to be their age - good job mom!

Jamie, have you thought of assigning him the task of finding out if there were actually giant squid in the Sea of Galilee?

There weren't. The Sea of Galilee is not actually a sea at all, but a very large freshwater lake. All types of squid live in salt water. Look up "Sea of Galilee" in Wikipedia - that's where I found out it was fresh water.

I love his persistance and mental creativity, but by his own logic, he doesn't have a leg to stand on in this case. :)

I love this post. What a bright kid you have!

Aha! Thank you, Lisa C.!

THIS is why I am determined to homeschool my future children. These are the kinds of conversations I am so looking forward to! Thanks for the great chuckle. :)
