That is the number of steps my Vivofit is showing me for today. More than 20,000 of them were from this morning's run -- billed as a 10-miler, but it worked out at a hair over 9.5. I thought about running loops around the parking lot until I got to 10, but then I came to my senses.
This week was an enormous improvement over last week. I can't say I was capering with glee during those last few miles, but there was never a moment when I wanted to sit down by the side of the trail and cry until my husband came to pick me up in the car. Last Saturday I limped off to bed at 8:15, and this week I am probably going to last until 9:30. Progress!
