Stella, lying in bed, says, "Mama, can we say that prayer about 'deliver us from evil'?"
"Sure we can," I tell her. She is a little vague on the beginning, but she ends strong.
"Deliver us from evil! And Jesus, please send me a unicorn."

Last Christmas Eve, my three year old apparently decided to pay attention on Church during this prayer. As we finished saying "deliver us from evil," he shouted out, "evil Decepticons?!" Needless to say, we worken on saying that one with him a little more frequently after that...

How ever did you keep from laughing?
Once at our house, Rachel pulled out her school recorder from under her pillow and did her best rendition of Hot Cross Buns for her portion of the family prayer.
