I made it. Since you asked. :)

Very early into my return to knitting 2 years ago (OK, previously I knit one scarf. In the '70's.) I ran across the book "When Bad Things Happen to Good Knitters." http://www.amazon.com/When-Things-Happen-Good-Knitters/dp/1561588407
Highly recommend, especially to get over the hump from "oh, no!" to, "Eh, I can fix that!"

I don't slog though your blog...and now I'm thinking of lots of silly rhyming ways to say I enjoy it...but I'm making cheese Nd the milk is starting to boil.

I had to go "lala, I can't hear you" as I skimmed your post after this one about Downton Abbey. I'm not caught up, and I think I know what happens because of evil Facebook, but I don't need any more details.
We never got back to our running conversation last night, but I wanted to share the book/plans I have used for races, "Marathoning for Mortals" http://www.amazon.com/Marathoning-Mortals-John-Bingham/dp/1579547826/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1359912405&sr=8-1&keywords=marathoning+for+mortals

It's really encouraging as well as pretty specific with the plans.
