oh, she is gorgeous! love!

your post from the other day- that you argue mostly about time and who-does-what, that is us as well. i call it the "same issue, different version" argument. ugh. also, that you are going to the post-doc work, that is wonderful! oh how i hope that works out for you! and that it works out for your family.

i so understand the feeling of "if only i could be done with this and be a real mama again" -having the caretaker has helped a lot, and i've forced myself to just commit real time to all parts that i need to, instead of my usual "try to do it all simultaneously" thing which, let's be honest, doesn't work so well.

i am so close to emailing this chapter, just wanted to stop by and see how you were doing- good job on the nablopomo! rock on!

She is so preciously cute!

and I love her sweater!

and where is the table in the room beyond her? are you redecorating or getting a new table or what? I am curious!

The table is still there, Tracy, but we've replaced the chairs on each side with old pews so that we can fit an extra person more easily at a table that was really made for a smaller family. I love that table because it is so solid and durable -- doesn't wobble and doesn't get scratched -- so we are going to make it work for a bit longer.

Go go go, pnuts mama! Good luck with your writing!

Also, Tracy? She is wearing a really adorable green dress underneath that sweater. An old friend gave me that really adorable dress in -- June, was it? July?? sometime before the pews were in place, obviously -- and I FORGOT to send a thank-you note. Ahem. And eek.

What a cutie!

And I LOVE her Feburary Baby sweater. I've knit two of those for my friends' babies and I never get tired of knitting it. Wish I could get it in a 4 yr old size.

She's a clever little girl--no, no, nap!

no worries on the thank you note - you said thank you then, didn't you? Old friend didn't notice, as old friend was too busy eating up the adorable baby :-)

She is adorable. I can't wait to see what unfolds for us over the next year!

Adorable video. Also: love the sweater!
